As a key member of the UPASS Brochure project, I was responsible for designing a visually compelling brochure to guide 7,000 incoming USC students to explore over 40 carefully curated LA restaurants, representing 6 different cuisines. My role involved translating the team's research and restaurant selections into an engaging, user-friendly brochure that highlighted the diverse culinary options available around the USC campus.
We approached this brochure in a non traditional way. From the start, we knew we didn’t want a printed Google map that shows where the restaurants are.
We want this brochure to feel like an invitation for adventures and spontaneous trips.
In the concept stage, we decided to go with a more playful and and bold design.
